Lawyers Experienced in Getting Separation Agreements Overturned

Many lawyers can set up separation and martial agreements, and the lawyers of Albright & Rhodes, LLC are no exception. But as any family law attorney will tell you, there are fewer things more difficult than getting separation agreements or marital agreements overturned.

Our lawyers, however, have had plenty of success in getting separation agreements overturned. Because we are very knowledgeable in many areas of law, including criminal law, family law, and immigration, we are able to find creative, unique solutions to complex cases. We help people throughout Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas of Maryland, including Rockville, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac.

Past Cases

One case handled by attorney Anne K. Albright involved a separation agreement that was entered into under duress. A Russian couple that lived in the United States was undergoing a divorce. The wife's visa was dependent on her husband's visa, and he threatened to not renew her visa if she did not sign his separation agreement. The man also sent her son back to Russia against her wishes.

Ms. Albright exposed the man's actions and got the separation agreement overturned. She also got the child back and kept the woman's visa safe from her husband's influence. Despite the husband's obvious misconduct, it proved a difficult legal challenge, and Ms. Albright presented the arguments that got her client what she needed.
