Judith A. Mustille is of counsel to Albright & Rhodes, LLC. She comes to Montgomery County, Maryland after practicing law in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. While in California, she became certified as a family law specialist in that state. She then practiced family law in Pennsylvania and served as a court-appointed child custody mediator in Philadelphia Family Court. She has experience handling complex property division and pension issues and contested custody in divorce cases, as well as guardianships and adoptions. She is a divorce mediator as well and has served as a guardian ad litem for the Juvenile Court of Los Angeles County. Before specializing in family law, she practiced general civil litigation and probate litigation in California. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and California. Ms. Mustille is a 1986 graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law. During law school, she worked for the Center for Law in the Public Interest under Bill Lann Lee and for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF). She was a legal research and writing teaching assistant and a member of the Moot Court Honors Program while in law school, Ms. Mustille worked for several years as a newspaper reporter prior to entering law school. and has a master's degree in journalism. She is a 1970 graduate of Cornell University where she was in the English honors program in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is a graduate of Abbot Academy in Andover, Massachusetts.
