Ms. Albright is a managing member and co-founder of Albright & Rhodes, LLC , a small firm dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to its clients. The firm represents clients in state and federal court in matters of family law, civil litigation, immigration law, and criminal defense. The firm also counsels clients on legal issues pertaining to nannies and other domestic employees. Before founding Albright & Rhodes, LLC , Ms. Albright served as a public defender with the Office of the Public Defender in Montgomery County, Maryland, the Snohomish County Office of the Public Defender in Everett, Washington, and the well-known Defender Association in Seattle, Washington. As a public defender, Ms. Albright tried numerous cases before judges and juries. She represented adults and juveniles charged with crimes ranging from trespassing to murder. At the Defender Association, she served in the office's DWI unit, where she handled alcohol-related traffic offenses exclusively. She also served in the office's Persistent Offender Unit, where she represented defendants facing life in prison without the possibility of parole under Washington's Three Strikes, You're Out law. She served as co-counsel in the state's first successful defense of a defendant eligible for life imprisonment under the law. With Albright & Rhodes, LLC , Ms. Albright has expanded her practice to include family law matters such as child custody , divorce and separation, child support enforcement, domestic violence, and guardianships. She has successfully sought emergency injunctive relief in order to calm the chaos that frequently develops in family law matters. She has negotiated and concluded favorable settlement agreements for her clients, including agreements to treat and divide union severance benefits as marital property. Through aggressive use of discovery requests, she successfully defended non-custodial parents in child support enforcement actions. Ms. Albright was a 1987 cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as Managing Editor of the American Criminal Law Review. Following her graduation, she served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Norman P. Ramsey, Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Ms. Albright received her A.B. from Dartmouth College. The mother of two children, Ms. Albright is an accomplished golfer and plays frequently with her husband.
